Wall Clock

7:00am - 6:00pm

Operating hours

The hours of operation are from Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. The parent is entitled to a continuous service for a period of 10 hours per day. An additional hour is available for those who need it, by signing an additional Appendix with a fee of $ 5.00 per day.
We strongly recommend that children arrive before 9h00 a.m. This allows the children to settle down in their classes and begin circle time which starts them off for the full day they will have. If your child arrives at the daycare when circle time has begun, it disrupts the functioning of the class and the learning.

Welcome and Free Play

Is done in multi-age groups. This period is devoted to free play. This is a crucial moment when the child makes the emotional transfer from his / her parent to the CPE staff.

Sleeping Baby

1:00PM - 3:00PM

Nap / Rest Time

For each group of children, a period of sleep or relaxation is planned in the afternoon. Each child has different sleeping needs, and the educator arranges the room to allow them to rest adequately. We believe that the nap is a very important moment where the child is physically and mentally resourced. Some have difficulty relaxing for a nap. The educator leads the child to rest with a transition activity, Soft music, a massage, a caress. The nap is an important routine for the child, however, after an hour of relaxation, the child who does not sleep can do silent activities such as a book, puzzle, or drawing on his mat.

Snacks and Lunch

Every day, a kosher hot lunch is served with two snacks, as well as milk. We have a catering service that delivers the food at the required temperature. A rotational menu spread over 4 (four) weeks, is distributed to parents at the beginning of the year. The CPE is a place without peanuts / nuts. Children who have food allergies are served alternative meals. In the case of situations such as doubt about the freshness of a food and that the CPE would need to modify the menu of the day, a note will be automatically sent to parents informing them of this change or posted on the bulletin board of the CPE.
• Morning snack is served at 10:00 am
• The hot meal is served between 11:30 am and 12:30 pm
Afternoon snack is served at 3 pm
No food is allowed from outside. Any food that the parent brings from home must be consumed outside the premises.

10:15AM and 3:15PM

Planned Activities

These activities are found throughout the day on a regular basis, such as snacks, rest time, hygiene. These moments allow the child to develop his autonomy and to follow the schedule. Regularity gives them a sense of security.
The centers focus on a given theme and takes place in the activity centers. The child, with minimal support from the educator, can explore, experiment, elaborate, solve problems ... in short, he learns.

Washing Hands

Throughout the day

Hygiene

We at the CPE, believe that a good hygiene is important throughout the day to make sure that the spread of viruses or infections can be minimized. Children are asked to wash their hands when they enter the CPE in the morning, many times during the day such as before snacks and lunch and after all activities and of course, after toileting.

We disinfect our toys and classrooms daily.

We work with our families when it is time for toilet training.

Our motto is that the children come in clean in the morning and we send them back clean when being picked up.
