COVID-19 HEALTH PROTOCOL

This protocol implements special measures aimed at ensuring the health and safety of the children, staff, and families during this pandemic period. It incorporates the recommendations of the Ministère de la Famille and the Director of Public Health. This protocol is an integral part of the CPE’s internal rules and regulations (handbook). This protocol is subject to periodic updates as required.

  1. A child cannot be admitted to the CPE IF:

    • the child has had a fever any time in the last 12 hours.
Please avoid giving the child Tylenol before drop-off.

    • the child has had a cough any time in the last 24 hours.
If the cough lasts more than 24 hours, a medical note with a diagnosis is required before the child can be readmitted. This is true even if the cough has another cause such as asthma.

    • the child has had a flu-like symptom (fever, fatigue, body aches) any time in the last 24 hrs.

If the symptom lasts more than 24 hours, a medical note with a diagnosis is required before the child can be readmitted.
